Meet Tami Blake, the passionate Green Beauty formulator and founder of Sweet and True Sugaring Company.  She knew she had to bring a wax alternative into her California spa.  In this episode, she shares with us how she took the leap and used a family recipe for sugar paste, perfected it, and has successfully produced it on a larger scale.

There really is one fundamental difference with body sugaring vs. waxing. With waxing, the wax gets applied over the top of the skin and shrink wraps around the top of the hair. Body paste is a little different. When we mold the sugar across the skin, it seeps down around in the follicles, wraps around the bulb, and pulls the whole hair out by the bulb not by the top of the hair.
